Iris J. Herssein is a founding member of Herssein Law Group. While working at one of the largest insurance company defense firms in Florida, Iris gained extensive litigation experience in complex cases involving general liability, medical malpractice and Workers’ Compensation. Her prior affiliations also include tenure at a Miami plaintiff's personal injury firm, as well as a Coral Gables firm where she represented health care professionals, hospitals and mental health facilities in both federal and state investigations. While attending the University of Miami School of Law, Iris also interned at the Eleventh Judicial Circuit Court of Florida in Miami.

Iris has written numerous articles and presentations for Claims Management Seminars for both state-wide and national audience, and has served as a Certified Instructor for the Florida Department of Insurance's Bureau of Agent & Agency Licensing. She is also fluent in Hebrew and proficient in Spanish.

Iris is married to Reuven, and together they have four children. In her spare time, she is active in Miami religious organizations and in local charities. Iris spends her time away from work caring for her growing children.
